About the Role
As an AI Engineering Lead, you’ll design and implement next-generation platforms integrating agentic AI, knowledge graphs, and developer productivity systems. You’ll work at the intersection of AI, developer experience, and large-scale distributed systems, partnering with global engineering, product, and AI/ML teams to drive measurable impact on productivity and code quality. Open to relocation.
Key Responsibilities
Architect, develop and build AI-powered systems to automate and enhance software development workflows.
Lead the design and evolution of knowledge graph and retrieval systems powering enterprise-scale Generative AI applications.
Develop developer productivity platforms and intelligent code-review or workflow automation tools used globally.
Integrate LLMs and AI agents into engineering workflows to streamline coding, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders across engineering, product, and infrastructure to deliver scalable solutions.
Promote best practices in software quality, observability, and security.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
Proficiency in at least one of: Python, Java, Go, or C++.
Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, distributed systems, and SDLC best practices.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, LLMs, or developer tooling platforms (e.g., Backstage, Port).
Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Experience
Designing or integrating knowledge graphs, RAG pipelines, or AI-driven search systems.
Exposure to DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
Experience with AI-assisted development tools or agentic automation frameworks.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
