Android OS Solutions Architect- Leading POS SaaS Solution Provider, Fuzhou, China

Our client, a leading POS SaaS Solution Provider, is looking for an Android OS Solutions Architect with overseas experience to join their fast-expanding team in Fuzhou, China. Successful candidates will lead the architecture design for their Android POS system, and interact with global stakeholders/mini-merchant clients to push forward the POS products.

Responsibilities:

• Create Android platform software architecture, including terminal systems and applications, PC tools, and holistic solution architecture including SaaS/PaaS.

• Develop overall solutions or specific software architectures, related software design specifications and guidelines, and technological development roadmaps.

• Take on the role of technical lead in important or complex projects, organize work group meetings, and discuss solutions with software managers.

• Lead forward-thinking technical research and coordinate the development of related specialties, departments, teams, and projects to meet architectural requirements while reviewing key designs and important solutions.

• Review overall solutions and software solutions including Android software components such as terminals, tools, ecosystems, and in-house systems.

• Conduct software reverse analysis independently when necessary.

• Edit documents for software logic and ideas.

• Analyze and optimize the performance architecture of systems.

• Finish tasks on time as required by the company.

• Guide team members as an expert in the Android field.

• Manage projects and coordinate teams.

Requirements:

• Overseas work experience as an Android solution architect or technical lead.

• In-depth understanding of embedded systems, principles, and significant mechanisms of operating systems (including Linux and Android), with strong development and experience in embedded systems (RTOS or without OS), Linux Kernel customization or driver development, and Android system customization and development, proficient in using languages such as C/C++.

• Basic knowledge of security, including system security, communication security, common security algorithms, and principles, security basic principles, etc.

• Some understanding of hardware digital circuits and related collaborative development experience.

• Some understanding of terminal application and cloud system development, and related collaborative development experience.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience in the development of financially intelligent products, with knowledge of relevant specifications and usage scenarios, preferred.

• Familiarity with SysML, UML, and other object-oriented technology knowledge, as well as experience in application or cloud development, is preferred.

• Knowledge of agile development, continuous integration, and project development tools, with experience preferred.

• Fluent communication in both Chinese and English since the person needs to interact with Chinese and overseas stakeholders.

• 8-10 years of work experience as an Android software architect or technical lead.

• Deep understanding of embedded systems, operating system principles, and important mechanisms, with solid foundational knowledge.

• Some understanding of digital circuits in hardware design, with experience in closely communicating with hardware personnel to develop hardware products.

• Some understanding of language, frameworks, and technologies for application development (especially Android application development), with experience in close cooperation with application development.

• Work experience in multinational companies.

Bonus Skills:

• Prior experience in developing financial intelligent products.

• Familiarity and experience with various application development languages such as Java, JS, and Kotlin, capable of developing Android applications.

• Experience in server-side development, including C/C++/Java, etc.

• Understanding of agile development, continuous integration, and common tools in software project development, with relevant project experience.

• Knowledge of financial security, familiarity with financial security specifications such as PCI, with relevant development experience.

• Master's degree or above in computer science, engineering, or related majors, with preference given to graduates from top tier universities.
