Our client (regional bank) is seeking a dynamic individual to join the team as a Technical Manager. In this role, you will provide leadership and guidance to a development team working on regional technology projects as part of our transformation initiatives. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the implementation and integration of various solutions, as well as driving technology-build initiatives. You will play a critical role in designing and implementing development best practices, while also leading technical analysis, design, development, and system integration testing.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the main point of contact for technical system integration and development queries.
Translate functional design requirements into functional and technical system specifications.
Plan and deliver system integration and technology development projects.
Collaborate with project and test managers to optimize system integration test cycles.
Ensure compliance with technology development governance and quality assurance procedures.
Establish architectural frameworks for IT operations and development.
Minimize technology operations risks through robust system design and testing.
Collaborate with Information Security and Technology Infrastructure teams for effective IT security.
Foster strong relationships with technology leadership and key stakeholders.
Manage team structures, recruitment, performance, and personal development.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline.
Extensive experience in financial technology, with a background in Core Banking, Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Transaction Banking, and integration.
Minimum of 10 years of experience managing software development teams, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Previous experience in stakeholder management at senior levels.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong decision-making and analysis abilities.
In-depth understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Expertise in one or more of the following domains: Cash Management, Trade Finance & Lending, Core Banking, Transaction Processing, Business Process Management, Data Management, and Business Intelligence is highly preferred.
