C# Developer - Elite Prop Trading Firm

Our client, a leading trading firm, specializes in leveraging cutting-edge technology and innovative strategies to achieve exceptional market performance. They are currently looking for a C# Developer (WPF / Server-side) to join their elite team of technologists.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy desktop applications and libraries for front-to-back trading using C# WPF and .NET.

• Develop and maintain systems for strong application performance focusing on maximal uptime to support mission-critical production systems.

• Work closely with quantitative researchers, traders, and other developers to translate business requirements into high-performance trading applications.

• Utilize agile development practices to deliver high-quality software solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Provide ongoing production support, maintenance, and performance enhancements for existing systems, ensuring seamless operation of trading activities.

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and evaluate their potential to enhance our technology stack.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• 5 - 8 years of hands-on experience in .NET and WPF development.

• Strong understanding of C# desktop development within the financial industry.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, develop solutions, and implement them efficiently.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce high and mid-level architecture documentation.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that embraces the latest technologies and methodologies.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Keen awareness of emerging technologies and industry standards, with a proactive approach to continuous learning and improvement.
