As the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and shaping the technology landscape in Singapore while ensuring the organization's strict adherence to regulatory requirements. You will oversee all aspects of information technology, data security, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic direction for technology, systems, and infrastructure to support the bank's mission, and ensure that technology initiatives align with business objectives.
Develop and implement a robust regulatory compliance strategy to ensure the bank's adherence to all relevant laws and regulations
Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive information security policies, procedures, and practices to safeguard customer and company data.
Lead the digital transformation efforts to enhance customer experiences and streamline internal processes, while maintaining compliance standards.
Manage relationships with technology vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with vendor agreements, including regulatory considerations.
Develop and manage the IT and information security budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
Provide regular updates to the executive leadership team and the board on technology and information security matters, including compliance status and risk assessments.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in a similar leadership role within the banking or financial sector.
Extensive knowledge of banking regulations and standards, with a track record of successfully ensuring compliance.
Strong background in information security and risk management.
Demonstrated experience in leading digital transformation initiatives.
