Our client, a Leading Banking Group, is rapidly expanding their technology team in Singapore and is currently looking for a Technical Delivery Lead to manage various Core Banking projects. The successful candidate will join a global team and be a part of large-scale expansion and growth.
Responsibilities:
Led the technical delivery of core banking projects from initiation to deployment, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, software architects, developers, and testers to define project scope, requirements, and technical specifications.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the project team, ensuring alignment with best practices, industry standards, and architectural principles.
Design and implement core banking solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and reliable, while also catering to regulatory and compliance requirements.
Identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies in project execution and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
Work closely with vendor partners and third-party providers to integrate their solutions into the core banking ecosystem effectively.
Lead code reviews, and technical design discussions, and ensure that development processes are followed rigorously.
Collaborate with infrastructure teams to manage deployment pipelines, automate processes, and optimize system performance.
Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and communicate updates to stakeholders regularly.
Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing enhancements to existing processes, methodologies, and technologies.
Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and technical excellence within the team, encouraging innovation and professional development.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in core banking systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience (10+ years) in leading the technical delivery of core banking projects, preferably within the financial services industry.
Strong understanding of core banking systems, including account management, transaction processing, payments, and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or similar, and experience with databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server).
Solid grasp of software architecture principles, microservices, API design, and integration patterns.
Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude toward overcoming challenges.
Knowledge of security protocols, data privacy regulations, and compliance standards relevant to the financial industry.
Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, TOGAF) are a plus.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment while maintaining a focus on quality and results.
