Crypto Trade Operations - Elite Prop Trading Firm

Our client is a leading algorithmic trading firm known for leveraging advanced technology and data-driven strategies to achieve market efficiencies across various asset classes. They are currently looking for Crypto Trade Ops candidates to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will work with top-tier traders and technologists within the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Trade Support: Share responsibilities between Singapore and London, covering weekend shifts if needed

• Cash Management: Oversee margin management across multiple cryptocurrency exchanges and brokers.

• Risk Monitoring: Conduct live risk monitoring and escalate issues as needed.

• Reporting: Produce various reports, including P&L, risk, and cash reports.

• Ad-Hoc Tasks: Execute trades and perform data analysis as required.

• Business Development Support: Assist in onboarding new exchanges or counterparties.

• Process Automation: Develop and maintain automated processes.

• Tool Development: Collaborate with the technology team to create new tools and applications.

• Cross-Asset Exposure: Gain experience across various asset classes throughout the trade life cycle.

Essential Attributes:

• Relevant Experience: Strong preference for candidates with experience in a top-tier crypto firm trading billions of notional value daily.

• Interest in Cryptocurrency: Demonstrated enthusiasm for the cryptocurrency markets.

• Programming Skills: Some experience with programming (Python, Go) related to automation.

• Educational Background: Minimum of a 2:1 (or equivalent) in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.

• Technical Learning: Eagerness to learn new technical skills.

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Self-Motivation: Disciplined self-starter with high motivation and rigor, capable of working independently during weekend shifts.

• Asset Class Experience: Experience with other asset classes is a plus.

• Process Improvement: Demonstrated aptitude and interest in process improvement.
