Our client, one of the leading investment banks, is looking for a Data Architect who will be responsible for all aspects concerning data architecture, evaluation and implementation including Data Engineering and Analytics, data engineering, business intelligence, etc. Excellent opportunity, environment and stability.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement data architecture solutions that meet the organization's data requirements.
Work with business analysts, data scientists, software developers, and other IT professionals to understand the organization's data needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
Develop data models and schema designs that ensure scalability, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Define data standards and guidelines for the organization and ensure that they are followed.
Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure that data is accurate, complete, and secure.
Provide technical guidance and leadership to other IT professionals working on data-related projects.
Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure that data architecture solutions are integrated with other systems and processes.
Conduct data analysis to identify opportunities for improving data quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture or a related field.
Strong understanding of database design, data modeling, and data management principles.
Experience with data integration technologies such as ETL and API integration.
Experience with Big Data tools e.g. Apache, Hadoop, Hive, etc.
Ideally some experience in Wealth Management, Asset Management, Private Banking
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with data visualization and reporting tools is a plus.
