Fidessa Developer - Leading Investment Bank

Our client, a leading Investment Bank in APAC, is looking for a Fidessa Developer within the Equity Team. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work with top-tier technologists in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs related to the Fidessa trading platform.

• Design, develop, and implement custom solutions within the Fidessa platform to meet specific business requirements.

• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of Fidessa applications to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.

• Customize and optimize existing Fidessa functionalities to improve trading workflows and efficiency.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users and other members of the development team.

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to the Fidessa platform and propose innovative solutions to enhance our trading capabilities.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including traders, quants, and IT professionals, to integrate Fidessa solutions into our broader trading infrastructure.

• Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures related to Fidessa development and maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Fidessa Developer or similar role within the financial services industry.

• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or .NET, with a focus on Fidessa development (TCL Scripting).

• In-depth knowledge of the Fidessa trading platform, including its architecture, APIs, and integration capabilities.

• Experience in designing and implementing custom solutions within the Fidessa platform to support trading activities across equities, derivatives, and other financial products.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a fast-paced trading environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.

• Professional certifications related to Fidessa development or financial trading systems are desirable.

• Open to relocation highly preferred.
