We are partnering with a leading financial services firm to hire a Security Governance Lead for its Singapore office.
This role will own the cybersecurity governance, risk, compliance, and assurance framework across the firm.
Key responsibilities:
Own and maintain the cybersecurity policy framework, standards, and SOPs
Manage cyber / technology risk registers, exceptions, and remediation tracking
Build and run control effectiveness testing and assurance processes
Maintain audit-ready evidence and support internal/external audit or regulatory reviews
Map controls against MAS TRM, MAS Notice 658, and relevant security frameworks
Oversee third-party, software, and AI tool risk assessments
Prepare KRI / KPI reporting for senior management and governance forums
Work closely with Cybersecurity, Technology, Compliance, Legal, and Operations teams
Requirements:
6–10+ years’ experience across cybersecurity governance, technology risk, IT GRC, risk assurance, or technology audit
Strong knowledge of MAS TRM and MAS Notice 658
Experience with control testing, risk registers, audit readiness, and remediation tracking
Financial services experience required
Familiarity with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, COBIT, or similar control frameworks
Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP, or ISO 27001 are preferred
Hands-on, detail-driven, and comfortable working in a lean environment
