Our client, an elite buy-side firm, is looking for a Python developer in testing to work closely with the business and software developers to develop test plans and test cases for various trading platforms. Perm position with great remuneration.

Responsibilities:
Design and develop automated regression testing using Python
Set up and maintain testing environments for automated and manual testing in both QA and software development settings
Test Asian exchanges, market data, and order adapters
Create scripts for maintaining, updating, and monitoring test system components
Troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues and bugs discovered during testing
Provide feedback on system functionality to drive improvements
Reproduce production issues in the test environments to aid in issue identification and resolution

Requirements:
Experience with automated test frameworks
Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Python
2+ years of experience working with databases such as MSSQL or Postgres
1+ year of experience working with Linux operating systems
Knowledge of testing trading systems and strategies is advantageous
