Senior Automation QA - Leading Financial Firm

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to join their team and take ownership of end-to-end automation testing for web applications. This role requires an experienced professional who can design, develop, and execute automated test scripts from scratch, ensuring the highest quality of software releases. The ideal candidate will have expertise in modern automation frameworks like Cypress or Playwright and a strong understanding of software testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automation test scripts for web applications.

• Implement and optimize automated test frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, or similar).

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define test strategies and ensure quality standards.

• Execute functional, regression, and performance testing to identify bugs and issues proactively.

• Drive best practices in automation testing, ensuring maintainability and scalability.

• Continuously improve test coverage and CI/CD test integration.

Key Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on web application testing.

• Strong expertise in end-to-end automation testing, including writing test scripts from scratch.

• Hands-on experience with Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks.

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or another scripting language used for automation.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the development workflow.

• Solid understanding of API testing and tools like Postman or RestAssured.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
