Senior Java Systems Analyst - Leading Fintech Firm

Our client is a leading Fintech Firm expanding rapidly in Malaysia with multiple exciting projects ongoing around the region. They're hiring multiple headcounts of Java System Analyst to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting technical workshops with banking and mobile payment partners, understanding their current architecture, and developing integration solutions.

• Driving the end-to-end implementation and integration with both bank/mobile payment partners and internal cross-functional teams.

• Deepening the technical collaboration with bank/mobile payment partners and providing best practices and technical recommendations to enhance user experiences and payment success rates.

• Expanding the ecosystem by partnering with third-party solution providers in the market to bring value-added services to the merchant and mobile payment users.

• Continually improving solutions through local implementation experiences and learning, and accumulating best practices for cross-country implementation.

Requirements:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subjects.

• 5 years + of work experience with hands-on software development.

• Proven record in designing and implementing complex customer solutions and bridging product and technology gaps.

• Ability to manage internal and external clients and convert business requirements into technical specifications.

• Demonstrable business acumen and experience using various technical solutions to fulfill business needs.

• Good fundamentals and hands-on experience with API design and integration, database, web security, application design, and troubleshooting.

• Proficiency in English and Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders. Must be comfortable speaking to both technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience using Java Enterprise technology is an added extra.

• Experience in Fintech technology, the payments industry, and large-scale payment/e-commerce transaction processing is a big advantage.

• Experience managing external vendors is a plus.

• Familiarity with the Southeast Asia banking/payment industry is an advantage.

• Experience in team management is a plus.
