Senior Network Engineer - Global Proprietary Trading Firm

My client, a global proprietary trading firm, is looking for an experienced Network Engineer to help with their trading infrastructure expansion plan in Hong Kong

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy high-performance network architectures

• Implement robust security measures to safeguard data and infrastructure

• Continuous monitoring and optimization of the network performance

• Minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted trading operation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, or a related field

• Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin (ideally)

• Demonstrated track record as a Network Engineer in a high-frequency/low-latency trading environment

• Expertise in network protocols, topologies, architectures and devices

• Practical experience with network monitoring, analysis tools, and automation using Python (will be an advantage)

• Knowledge of market data feeds, exchange connectivity, FIX protocol, and trading platforms
