Senior QA Engineer - Leading Fintech Firm

Our client, a leading and rapidly expanding fintech Firm, is looking for multiple QA Engineers (middle-level to senior-level) to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. Successful candidates will work with cutting-edge technologies and end-to-end solutions.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Understanding the functional and non-functional requirements of software products and designing quality assurance and testing strategies for various products.

• Contributing to the planning and construction of product system architecture, assessing risks, resolving design testability, and addressing system stability.

• Innovating testing tools, technologies, and platforms to improve testing efficiency and the testing lifecycle of product R&D.

• Participating in testing system setup, technology team planning, and construction of testing technology platforms.

• Leading and designing technology solutions and architectures for system integration tests and ensuring successful deployment and implementation.

• Conducting system integration tests during the product deployment phase to ensure high-quality product go-live.

• Researching and applying new technologies and methods in the testing domain to improve industry influence.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of QA and QC experience in internet and traditional industries, with experience in large-scale software development lifecycles.

• Thorough knowledge of QA theory and methodology.

• Systematic mindset and experience in software quality assurance, with the ability to prototype and deploy software quality control strategies for complex systems.

• Strong analysis and design skills, including experience with RESTful API testing, performance testing, automation testing, security testing, black box, and white box testing.

• Proficiency in programming languages and coding, as well as experience with code review and version control systems like GIT or SVN.

• Strong logical thinking, a willingness to explore, and a proactive approach to taking ownership and working as part of a team.

• Effective communication skills to discuss issues with stakeholders and propose solutions.

• Maintaining subject matter expertise for the systems under test and using that expertise to create, maintain, and extend the test case library.

• Candidates with a strong interest or project experience in Internet financial services and technology are preferred.

• Experience in team management is a plus.
